Kholeno Peak (4375m) is the highest summit in Tehran province, located in the breathtaking Central Alborz mountain range.

About the Route:
We started our climb from the village of Lalan and followed the classic route through Tang-e Lalan, past the beautiful Lalan Waterfall, and up to the Varzab Pass (Gardaneh-e Varz Ab). The real adventure began as we traversed the exposed and technical Gendarme Ridge, a thrilling section that requires focus, balance, and skill. The path features steep drop-offs on both sides and is considered one of the most exciting routes in the area.
