“Droopy Catches a Fox” is a short cartoon released in 1944 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, directed by Tex Avery. It was one of the early appearances of Droopy, the soft-spoken, slow-moving dog who always manages to outwit his opponents.
In this cartoon, a fox escapes from hunters and takes refuge in Droopy’s home, thinking it will be an easy hiding place.
