River Jordan at Al-Maghtas where John the Baptist — or Sayyidna Yaḥyā ibn Zakarīyā — (Peace be upon him) baptised Jesus Christ (Peace be upon him). I was honoured to be given rare access to such holy and sacred locations to which I feel humbled and undeserving. At Al-Maghtas you will see the Cross and the Crescent alongside one another. A testament to how Muslims, Christians and Jews lived peacefully for centuries side by side. If only we were able to learn from history. With prayers. _sy.
