Parliamentary elections are held in Iran on 26 February 2016 to elect members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly in all seats. It's the 10th parliamentary election in Islamic Republic era and 35th since Persian Constitutional Revolution. The elected candidates will serve from May 3, 2016 to May 3, 2020. The election are held as part of a general election which also elects members of the Assembly of Experts . It is the first time that two bodies are elected simultaneously.
