Mansour has been occupying this part of the pavement, selling handwoven wool carpets, for over thirty years. All the rugs are made by family members who live and work in Cairo and upper Egypt. Some of the designs are copies of old Iranian and Turkish kilims, others are their own designs. Photo @christinarizk
